KIRKLAND – Northwest gets back on the road for a pair of 2 p.m. games in Portland this weekend, taking on Warner Pacific on Friday and Multnomah on Saturday.

The Eagles are 6-5 overall and 3-3 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

Northwest last season scored a 3-1 win against Multnomah and a 2-2 draw against Warner Pacific.
Jordan Travis and
Leon Bormann had goals in the win, and Travis tied the game with a goal in the 78
th minute against WPU.

Alexander Thiehofe is second in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and 36
th nationally with a 1.06 goals-against average. He also is second in the league with 4.29 saves per game. Among his shutouts this season was an 11-save performance against Rocky Mountain, who leads the CCC in goals, shots, and shots on goal per game.

The Eagles have scored in every game this season and, dating back to last season, carry a 12-game scoring streak going into the weekend. It is the longest such streak since NU scored in 12 consecutive contests to close out the 2015 regular season.

Warner Pacific is 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. The Knights are on a two-game winning streak after a 5-0 win over Northwest Christian and a 10-0 victory over Multnomah. WPU is 16
th nationally in shots on goal per game and 10
th with 3.5 goals per game. Omar Alcazar and Arturo Bahena have five goals each to lead the team. Juan Inzuna has a 1.6 goals-against average and 14 saves in goal for WPU this season.

Multnomah has been hit with 8.5 goals allowed per game this season and is second in the nation with 99 saves. The Lions have lost all 10 contests this season and have allowed 10 or more goals four times. MU has lost 14 consecutive games and 19 of its last 20, dating back to last season. Multnomah has five goals from five different scorers this season.
