KIRKLAND – Northwest finishes off its road schedule this weekend with a pair of important road games at Eastern Oregon at 4 p.m. Friday and College of Idaho at 11 a.m. (Pacific) on Friday.

The Eagles (7-6-1 overall and 4-4-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference) fell into ninth place last weekend but are just two points outside the playoff box. NU, in its final regular-season road trip of the season, faces in Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho a pair of teams behind the Eagles. All three teams are in a fight for their playoff lives.

Jordan Travis leads the Eagles with 10 goals and 24 points this season. He is 50th in the NAIA in total goals. Within the CCC, Travis is third in goals and fifth in points.

Freshman Elliot Misic is fifth in the league with 3.09 shots per game and third with 2.18 shots on goal per game. He ranks 35th nationally in shots on goal per game.

Freshman Alexander Thiehofe allows 1.13 goals per game, which is fourth in the CCC and 42nd nationally. Thiehofe also averages 4.33 saves per game.

Since 2015, Northwest and Eastern Oregon have been evenly matched and have tied the last two outings. The series stands at 1-1-2, and neither team has won on the road in those four games. Jordan Travis scored twice for the Eagles last season in a 2-2 tie. Connor Young had both goals for the Mountaineers.

Eastern Oregon is 5-8-1 for the season and 2-6 in the conference. The Mountaineers broke a four-game slide Sunday with a 6-0 win at Walla Walla. Javier Moran leads EOU with four goals and 10 points. Max Rose allows 2.35 goals per game and has 32 saves.

In the last four meetings, Northwest and College of Idaho are even at 2-2. College of Idaho has won the last two meetings, including a 4-0 win at NU last season. Bekir Cinac had two goals in the game for Idaho.

College of Idaho is 6-6 this season, including a 4-5 mark in the Cascade College Conference. The Yotes were shelled by Rocky Mountain, 8-0, Sunday to end a two-game winning streak. Ben Bechor leads the team with five goals and four assists for 14 points. With 44 saves, Parker Billings brings a 1.72 goals-against average into the weekend.
