KIRKLAND – Northwest gets its spotless record challenged, and Head Coach
Bryan Chud gets his first chance to own a career wins record outright when Corban and Northwest Christian visit this weekend.

Chud, with the win last week against Rocky Mountain, tied the Northwest record for women's soccer career coaching wins. He shares the record of 46 wins with Erin Redwine. Chud already holds a place in the NU Hall of Fame after his strong playing career on the men's team. He owns four single-season records for the NU men.

Northwest has won seven consecutive games since opening at 0-2. It is the longest winning streak for Northwest women's soccer since 2014 when NU won nine straight as part of an 11-game unbeaten streak. The 3-0 start to the Cascade Collegiate Conference schedule is the best for Northwest since 2014. The Eagles were 8-0-1 that season, winning eight straight before taking on the tie in the regular-season finale against Concordia.

Northwest enters with the best record in the Cascade Collegiate Conference at 3-0, but Corban, at 3-0-1, has one more conference point. A Friday winner will have the undisputed lead in the CCC.Â

Kat Sanchez is 47th in the NAIA with her 0.93 goals-against average. The Eagles have three shutouts this season. The defenders have limited opponents to 11 shots and five shots on goal per game.

Freshman
Callie Wright leads the Eagles with eight goals and 19 points. Those numbers rank 33rd and 37th, respectively, in the NAIA. She also is 47th in the nation with 2.44 shots on goal per game. Wright has put 68 percent of her shots on frame this season. Wright is second in the league in goals

Four Eagles have accounted for NU's 19 goals this season, led by Wright with eight.
Rylee Rassier has five goals, followed by
Olivia Morris with three and
Madison Morrow with two. Six Eagles have collected the team's 15 assists, led by Morris with four.

Corban enters Friday's game with a 6-2-1 overall and 3-0-1 conference record after winning its last two contests. Kalrissa Barajas and Hannah Shore have four goals each. Malie Kuia has a 0.73 goals-against average.

Northwest Christian plays at Evergreen before coming to town Saturday. The Beacons are 2-7 on the season and 1-3 in the Cascade Conference coming into the weekend. Sierra Graton leads the team with three goals and seven points. Makenna Hadaller and Katie Hastings share time in goal. NCU has allowed 4.11 goals per game.
