NU (4-2) plays at 1 p.m. (Pacific) Friday at the University of Providence in Great Falls, Montana, and at 1:30 (Pacific) Sunday at Carroll College in Helena, Montana.

The last time the Eagles won five straight contests was the 2018 postseason when the team won five in a row--sweeping through the Cascade Conference Tournament, winning the NAIA opening round, and advancing to the NAIA round of eight.Â

Olivia Morris has the game-winning goal in three of the four Northwest wins this season. That ranks her third nationally in total game-winners and seventh in goal-winning goals per game at 0.5.

The Northwest defense is allowing 10.3 shots, with 5.3 shots on goal, per game. The Eagles are third in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with 0.83 goals allowed per game.

Kat Sanchez has 24 saves on the season and is third in the Cascade Collegiate Conference in saves per game (4.8). She also is 44
th nationally with her 0.89 goals-against average. Kiersten Patefield has a shutout in her only start this season, and NU has two shutouts this season, which is 50
th in the NAIA.

Bryan Chud lacks just three wins to catch Erin Redwine for the school record for coaching wins in women's soccer. Redwine finished with 46 wins over seven seasons. Chud got his 43
rd career win Saturday against Linfield.

Providence rolls into Friday's game at 1-3 after a 4-0 loss at the hands of Rocky Mountain College in a non-conference game. The Argos scored 10 of their 14 goals this season in a 10-0 win over Park (Ariz.).Â

Eme McLaughlin, who earned Cascade Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors two weeks ago, leads the team and the CCC with eight goals and 16 points. She has taken a league-leading 19 shots and 16 shots on goal. UP is the top-scoring team in the league at 3.50 goals per game, and they launch a conference-best 18.75 shots per game. Dakota Neumann has spent all 368 minutes in goal for the Argos and has a 2.44 goals-against average.

Carroll is 3-1-1 on the season after a 1-0 victory over Black Hills State.Â

CC goalkeeper Sydney Green is the reigning Defensive Player of the Week in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after shutting out Montana State-Billings and Black Hills State. Makayla Welch leads the Saints with five goals in as many games.Â

CC gets 17.8 shots per game, which is second only to Providence in the league. The Saints host Evergreen State Friday.
