Northwest picked up an overtime road victory Wednesday at Puget sound, 4-3. Brayden Corwin, Titus Nickson, Jacob Moon, and Elliot Misic had goals for the Eagles, with Misic, Corwin, and Angel Trejo-Delgado gathering assists.

This will be the fifth Northwest contest against the Northwest Conference. NU got wins against preseason No. 8 Pacific and preseason No. 4 Whitworth. Preseason No. 2 Whitman handed NU its lone loss. The Eagles then beat No. 5 Puget Sound. Linfield received the No. 6 ranking.

Northwest is 3-1, marking the best start since 2016 when the Eagles went 4-1 against non-conference opponents.

Elliot Misic leads the Eagles with four goals this season. Ian Reynoso has two goals, and Brayden Corwin, Jacob Moon, Titus Nickson, Gian Herrera, and Seito Gao have one apiece. Misic moved into a tie for eighth with his 16th career goal, joining Brandon Screen and Taylor Young.

Linfield has a 1-2 start but comes off of a 3-1 win against Evergreen State. The Wildcats are making their road debut after three home games against members of the Cascade Collegiate Conference. LU lost an exhibition to the College of Idaho and regular-season games against Warner Pacific and Oregon Tech.

Romario Mendoza leads the Wildcats with a goal and an assist for three points. Cesar Cruz-Espinodola ad Seamus Miller also have goals.
