KIRKLAND – Northwest launches its regular season-ending five-game road swing this weekend in Portland, taking on Multnomah on Friday at 2 p.m. and No. 23 Warner Pacific on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
 
Northwest is 5-6-2 on the season and 3-4-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after falling 2-0 on Saturday at home to Corban. Alexander Thiehofe had 11 saves in that game.
 
The Eagles have 21 goals by 10 different players this season. Tyler Hopp leads the way with six goals and 14 points. Elliot Misic has three goals, and Max Herrig, Brayden Corwin, Noah Prophet, and Jacen Stein have two each. Jack Eberl, Gian Herrera, Jackson Welch, and Frederik Marten also have scored.
 
Thirteen Eagles have accounted for 21 assists this season, led by Kyler McIntosh with four. 
 
Northwest has allowed 19 goals in 13 games for a 1.46 goals-against average. Northwest has four shutouts. Alexander Thiehofe has two solo shutouts and has shared another with David Fulga. Michael Kot also has a shutout.
 
Northwest is 8-0 in its rivalry with Multnomah. The Eagles won at home last season, 3-1, and downed the Lions 4-0 in their last visit to MU in 2019. 
 
Multnomah is 6-5-1 overall and 3-4 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference following its 4-1 loss at Warner Pacific on Friday. Michael Appiah leads the Lions with 11 goals, six assists, and 28 points. 
 
Warner Pacific has a slim 11-10-3 lead in the series. WPU won last year's game in Kirkland, 3-1, and then ended the Eagles' season in the Cascade Collegiate Conference playoffs, 1-0. 
 
Warner Pacific is 12-0 this season and 7-0 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and ranked 23rd in the NAIA Top 25. Andrew Martinez has 19 goals and 42 points to lead the Knights, the league, and the NAIA, and Hunter Leach has nine goals and two assists. Alexis Calerilla has a 0.36 goals-against average.
