KIRKLAND – Northwest University women's basketball signed Burlington Edison High School standout Hannah Sayer for the 2022-23 season.
 
"We are very excited to welcome Hannah to NU! She is going to be another important part of an already strong recruiting class," said Northwest Head Coach Ken Crawford. "An excellent student, Hannah was also an important member of the very successful Burlington Edison High School girls basketball team this past season. She brings a defensive toughness and strong offensive mindset to our program. Welcome, Hannah!"
 
Sayer, a 5-4 guard, is an incoming freshman. She helped the Tigers to fifth place in the State Tournament as a sophomore and a runner-up finish as a senior.
 
"I selected Northwest because of the team and the opportunity to play basketball," said Sayer.
 
She is the daughter of Crystal and Brian Sayer.
