EUGENE, Ore. – Northwest takes home its first team win with a 3-2 victory against Bushnell.

The Eagles came up just short in a 2-3 loss to Southern in the first round of the day but were able to bounce back for the second round of games.

The NU pairs of Kaitlyn Mickle and Madelynn Culp, Caitlyn James and Kelsey Moore, and Ellie Van Berkum and Morgan Harter all won their matches against Bushnell. James and Moore won both of their games today, while the pair of Masa Spela Jarc and Delaney Sparks earned a win over Southern Oregon.

"I am so proud of how these ladies competed today!" said Head Coach Hannah Lord. "They fought hard for every point, and it paid off. We are ready to build on this success tomorrow."

NU takes on Corban at noon and Bushnell at 2:00 PM on Saturday.
