CALDWELL, ID - Northwest University Beach Volleyball kicked off its three-day weekend of play today, but came up short to The College of Idaho, 1-4.
The Eagles second pair, Madelynn Culp and Masa Spela Jarc , had the lone win of the day taking their game over the Yotes in two straight sets.
Fourth pair, Brynn Keeling and Charlize Katz, fought hard as they were the only to take the Yotes to three sets in their game, but eventually fell short.
Head Coach Hannah Lord says, "I saw a lot of good things today. We implemented the things we practiced but were not as consistent as we needed to be to come out with a win."
Tomorrow the Eagles will face a strong Southern Oregon team in Caldwell, ID, at 10Â AM MST.
