CALDWELL, ID - Day two of beach volleyball called for two tough matchups in Idaho, resulting in two loses for the Eagles. Northwest went 0-5 with Southern Oregon and 2-3 with Bushnell.
The Eagles started the morning against a 6-1 Southern Oregon squad, falling 0-5 with no game wins.
The top pair for NU, Caitlyn James and Carlee Rowell, defeated Bushnell's top pair in two straight sets, 21-15, 21-17.
The second game win of the day belongs to the fifth pair, Kylie Rankins and Sydney Faber. Rankins and Faber took Bushnell to three sets winning 21-17, 18-21, 15-13.
The Eagles will continue to hunt for their first conference win tomorrow, starting with a matchup against No. 2 ranked Corban, at 10 AM MST.
