KIRKLAND, WA - Mark Mandi has landed a highly decorated runner for the women's track and field squad, Naomi Limb.
Throughout her high school career at Edmonds-Woodway, Limb consistently showcased exceptional talent, securing numerous victories and breaking records along the way. In her senior year alone, Limb broke the EWHS 100 meter record and was a Wesco South Champion in the 100 meter, 200 meter, 4x100, and 4x200. The track team captain also received First Team All-Wesco in the respective events.
Limb's determination to be the best she can be showed in the classroom as well. The senior was a scholar-athlete as well as received multiple prestigious awards, including the WIAA District I Cliff Gillies Student Award 2024 and the Edmonds School District Featured Graduate of 2024.
Head Coach Mark Mandi says, "We are so excited to have Naomi join our program this year! She is a highly accomplished competitor and is going to be a fantastic addition to our sprinting group and a great training partner for Lizzy. More importantly, though, is that she loves Jesus and loves people, which fits right in with our team culture."
Limb plans to study education at Northwest in the fall. She says she chose NU because, "I am free to be myself and express my faith."
