KIRKLAND, WA - Sun shining, white sandy beaches, gentle crashing waters… sounds like a perfect day… for some beach volleyball! 

The women's beach volleyball team is back for the 2025 season as they set to begin their third season on Friday, February 28th against the Yotes and Beacons at Bushnell University. The Eagles will host on Friday, March 21st and Saturday, March 22nd at Alki Beach. 

The schedule will also consist of the Eagles traveling to Southern Oregon on March 14th and 15th and to The College of Idaho on April 4th and 5th. 

Last year, the Eagles struggled in their second season, winning only two games and losing 15. The two wins came in the opening weekend against Park University Gilbert.  

The roster will feature many of the indoor volleyball players including Sophia Rice, Ellie Van Berkum, Masa Spela Jarc, Aubree Dees, Kali Dransfeldt and Hailey Edwards. New faces on the team include freshman Ava Hoy from Olympia, Washington and Highline College transfer Oriana Muliaga who hails from Auburn, Washington. Caitlyn James and Kylie Lunday will take the beach for their final time this year as graduates. 

Head Coach Meng Bak will take the reins as the team's newest head coach, along with assistants Gabe Mathis and former volleyball player Kelsey Moore.
