KIRKLAND, Wash. - Josiah Jaquith has won the Men's Cross-Country CCC McDonald's Player of the Week.
Jaquith won the award by posting a personal best 25:02.8 at the Bill Roe XC Classic on Saturday. In addition to the personal best, he led the men's XC team to breaking a school record for best 1-5 and 1-7 team time.
"Praise God for such an honor!" said Head Coach Mark Mandi. "Josiah is having a great start to the season, picking up right where he left off at running at a high level. He continues to set a great example for the team with his work ethic and attitude. He gets better as seasons go on so I'm excited to see how he'll do in November."
Northwest University and NU Athletics are proud of Josiah on the incredible accomplishment and look forward to seeing what he'll do next.
