Box Score ASHLAND, Ore. – No. 16 Southern Oregon took advantage of a depleted NU Eagle line up and scored a 110-74 CCC win tonight. The Eagles played without the services of five players due to illness and injury.
SOU shot 60 percent in the first half as they would take a 57-37 lead at the half.
Charmaine Bradford led the Eagles with 11 points and
Jordan Asher dropped in 9 to lead the way. Alexi Smith led the Raiders with 16 points.
Southern Oregon would continue their hot shooting as they would outscore the Eagles 12-2 to start the second half to increase their lead to 30, 69-39 at the 16:30 mark.
Emily Henderson would hit a 3-pointer and
Chanara Greene would hit a single free throw to cut the SOU lead to 72-46 at the 13:09 mark, but that would be the closest they would get as the nationally ranked Raiders would post their 15
th win of the season.
Freshman guard
Charmaine Bradford led Northwest U (9-8, 2-5 CCC) with a team high 18 points and added 5 assists.
Emily Henderson came off the bench to score 15 points while teammate
Jordan Asher added 14 for NU. The Eagles shot 37 percent for the game and 44 percent from the 3-point line.
Southern Oregon (15-2, 6-2 CCC) was led by Alexi Smith's game high 22 points. Ashley Claussen added 18 points and 11 assists for a double-double. Courtney West also scored 18 and grabbed 8 rebounds. SOU held a 52-30 in rebounding and shot an impressive 58 percent for the game.

Hannah Carlson and
Kristen Frey along with playing without several others on this road trip," said
Ken Crawford, Eagle head coach. "I'm proud of the way our young players have stepped in and given all they have to help the team."
Northwest U returns home to Kirkland and will host Warner Pacific and Concordia on Friday and Saturday nights.
