The half would be tightly contested with six ties and five lead changes as the two teams would battle back and forth. Two Kristen Frey free throws would give NU an 18-15 lead and Jenna Lewis' jumper would increase the lead to 20-15 at the 8:39 mark. The Eagles would come within seven points, but that would be the closest they would come as the Beacons would stretch their lead to 75-59 with 2:47 to go in the game as NCU's deeper bench would takes its toll over the shorthanded Eagles.

Jordan Asher led the Eagles (10-11, 3-8 CCC) with 18 points. Charmaine Bradford and Chanara Greene each scored 9 with Bradford adding a team high 5 assists. Jenna Lewis added 8 points as the Eagles managed just 30 percent shooting for the night.

"Another tough loss as we could not maintain our consistency tonight," said Ken Crawford, NU head coach. "Northwest Christian was inspired and went on a run in the middle of the second half which proved to be too much for us. We're going to regroup and be ready for Friday night."

The Eagles will return home and will host New Hope Christian on Friday night and Evergreen on Saturday.
