Klebaum's Treys Lifts EOU Over Eagles

Bradford led the Eagles with 19 points
Box Score KIRKLAND, Wash. – Jordan Klebaum hit nine 3-point shots and scored 31 points to lead Eastern Oregon to an 81-64 conference victory over Northwest University tonight in the NU Pavilion. Klebaum was 9 of 16 from beyond the arc for 56 percent. Eastern Oregon shot 54 percent from 3-point range on 15 of 28 shooting.
 
EOU jumped out early taking a 13-2 lead on the Eagles in the first quarter with Klebaum hitting two of her nine treys. Northwest U would slowly get back in the game and Paige Burson's jumper with 1:49 to go would close the gap to 13-11, but Maloree Moss would drill a trey with 31 seconds on the clock to give EOU a 24-11 first quarter lead.
 
Klebaum's sharp shooting from beyond the arc would continue in the second quarter and her 3-pointer at 7:03 would increase the EOU lead to 18, 31-13. NU's Jordan Asher would hit two free throws with 25 seconds left to end the scoring as EOU would take a 42-27 lead to the locker room at halftime.
 
Charmaine Bradford would cut the Eastern Oregon lead to 9 at 4:37 to 47-38 with two free throws in the third period, but it would be the closest the Eagles would get the entire second half as Eastern Oregon would close out the game earning their 16th win of the season and improve to 16-8, 12-3 in the CCC.

Northwest U (11-14, 6-9 CCC) was led by Charmaine Bradford's 19 points. Paige Burson scored 13 points off the bench for NU while Jordan Asher and Brianna Fiso each scored 10 for the Eagles who were 22-55 from the field for 40 percent shooting.
 
In addition to Klebaum's game high 31, Eastern Oregon's (16-8, 12-3 CCC) Ashley Knight scored 13 points and Maloree Moss scored 11 points including 3 for 3 shooting from the 3-point line. EOU out rebounded Northwest, 39-29 and went 15 of 19 from the free throw line (79 percent).
