Box Score LA MIRADA, Calif. - The Northwest University Eagles may be singing "Sweet Home Alabama" on their plane ride back to Kirkland as they shutout No. 8 ranked and No. 6 seed, Biola, 2-0, on Al Barber Field this afternoon to earn a trip to the next round of the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championships in Orange Beach, Alabama.
Northwest U (13-6-2) used solid defense and goals from freshman
Rylee Rassier, early in the 2nd minute, and the game clincher by sophomore
Bailey Travis in the 64th minute to earn the shutout over the No. 6 team ranked in the MRPI.

Said an excited NU coach, Bryan Chud, "We had a simple game plan tonight. We wanted to play a disciplined game where we moved the ball quickly, and won our personal battles all over the field, and that's exactly what the ladies did. I cannot say enough about this team! I am extremely proud of the effort and unity displayed by everyone! On to Alabama now. Roll Tide!!!!"
Northwest U will face Ottawa (19-3-0) of Kansas, a 2-1 over time and upset winner over No. 11 seed Hastings (Neb.), in Alabama on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 4 p.m.
