No. 2 Warriors Roll Over Eagles

Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho - Lewis-Clark State College, showed why they are ranked No. 2 in NAIA Division I as they jumped out to a 21-8 first quarter lead and never looked back as they defeated Northwest University, 87-52, in a non-conference game this afternoon.

Miranda Langenhorst led Northwest U (1-5) with 17 points and 10 rebounds hitting 8 of 9 shots from the field. Mariah Stacona and Skylar Hollenback each scored 10 for the Eagles who dropped their fourth straight game. NU managed 30% shooting for the game hitting on 4 of 24 from the 3-point line for 17% shooting.
 
Lewis-Clark State (5-1) was led by Lauren Johnson's 20 points as she connected with 7 of 11 shots. Jansen Edmiston added 13 points and 4 assists with Peyton Souvenir and Brittany Tackett each scoring 11 for the Warriors. LCSC out rebounded NU, 43-37.

Next Up: The Eagles will host Bellevue College in a scrimmage on Nov. 28.
