KIRKLAND – Northwest heads out on its final regular-season road trip with contests at No. 11 Eastern Oregon at 6:30 p.m. Friday and College of Idaho at 1:30 p.m. (Pacific) Saturday.

Northwest became the first team to clinch a berth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament with its win Saturday at Evergreen State. The Eagles have 24 conference points with their unblemished 8-0 record in league games.

Northwest won its school-record 12th consecutive game last week in a 1-0 victory at Evergreen State. A big part of that streak is an amazing nine-game run in road games. NU is 9-1 this season when playing away from home and will have more road wins than home games this season.

Rylee Rassier and Callie Wright are the first Northwest women's soccer teammates to each eclipse 10 goals in a season. Rassier has 15 goals this season, which ranks 15th nationally. Wright has 13 and is 27th in the NAIA.

NU keeper Kat Sanchez has gone 501 minutes without allowing a goal-–a streak that includes five consecutive shutouts. Her 24 shutouts are a school career record. Sanchez is 12th nationally with a 0.56 goals-against average this season. Northwest is 15th in the NAIA with eight total shutouts this year.

The Eagles are 18th in the NAIA with 2.5 assists per game, led by Olivia Morris, who is No. 13 in the nation with 10 assists. Callie Wright is 38th nationally with seven assists. Morris leads the Cascade Collegiate Conference and is one short of the school record. Jaclyn Metz had 11 last season.

Eastern Oregon is ranked 11th with a 9-1-2 overall and 6-1-1 Cascade Collegiate Conference record. The Mountaineers have won two in a row after falling to Oregon Tech 3-1. Nan Kiebert and Morgan Farrington have each scored seven goals and produced four assists to lead the team with 18 points. Cyndi Cottrell has been stingy in goal, allowing just .63 goals per game.

The College of Idaho is 3-5-4 overall and 2-4-2 in the CCC. CI has lost its last two games-–a 2-0 setback to Rocky Mountain and a 1-0 loss to Oregon Tech-–on the road. Madison Glasscock leads the Yotes with eight points on three goals and two assists. Kylee Atkins has 50 saves in goal to go with a 1.06 goals-against average this season.
