KIRKLAND – Northwest continues Cascade Collegiate Conference action this weekend with a trip to Portland for 5:30 p.m. games at Warner Pacific (Friday) and Multnomah (Saturday). 
 
The Eagles are 4-13 overall and 2-5 in the CCC. Warner Pacific is 8-9 overall and 5-4 in conference, and Multnomah is 3-11 on the year and winless in seven CCC games.

The Eagles fought hard but lost to No. 18 Eastern Oregon Saturday, 85-80. Grace Meza led NU with 19 points, followed by Ellesse FitzGerald with 13, Sam Van Loo with 12, and Athena Taylor with 11.
 
Van Loo is dangerous inside, shooting 54.8 percent from the field. She ranks 17th in NAIA Division II in shooting percentage. Van Loo also is the lone Eagle averaging in double-figures scoring with 12.5 points per game. 
 
With 25 three-pointers this season, FitzGerald leads the Eagles in three-point scoring. Meza (41.9 percent) and Maya DuChesne (41.7) have been the most accurate from the arch.
 
Van Loo averages a blocked shot per game to lead the interior defense. Livi Lindsey leads the Eagles with 25 steals, while Lexi Biggerstaff has a team-best 1.5 steals per game average.
 
Warner Pacific has won the last four meetings in the series, including an 89-72 win in Portland last February. Van Loo had 12 points, Andie Kristinat 11, and Lexi Biggerstaff 10. 
 
Warner Pacific grabbed an 86-67 win on the road Saturday. The Knights are 18th nationally in blocked shots with 64. Kali Kruger gets 2.47 per game, which is the fifth-best average in the nation. Courtney Jackson is second nationally at 91.7 percent shooting at the free-throw line, and the Knights are 26th at 72.9 percent. Gabriella Bruno leads WPU with 13.8 points per game, with Jackson second at 13.2.
 
Northwest has won seven of the last eight games against Multnomah, including a 74-56 win in Portland last season. Kristinat had 14 points and Van Loo 11 in that game. 
 
Multnomah has lost its last six games and nine of the last 10 heading into the weekend, which starts Friday with a game against Evergreen State. Erykah Campbell is second nationally with 3.14 blocks per game and 19th in the nation with 10.14 rebounds per game. Campbell and Alaygza Portis lead the team with matching 10.6 scoring averages.
