KIRKLAND – Northwest comes back home this weekend as winners of three of its last four games. The Eagles host No. 22 Northwest Christian Friday and Corban Saturday in a pair of 5:30 p.m. tips. Northwest is 6-13 overall and 4-5 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

It took overtime, but the Eagles completed a weekend road sweep with a 77-72 win at Multnomah. Livi Lindsey had 22 points, and
Maya DuChesne added 21. Lindsey matched her career high in the game, and DuChesne had the best scoring game of her freshman season.

Sam Van Loo and DuChesne average in double figures in scoring for Northwest at 12.2 and 10.4 points, respectively. Van Loo's field goals have all been inside the arch, where the 6-2 sophomore is 19th in the nation with a 53.8 field goal percentage. DuChesne gives a more perimeter look, with 22 three-pointers among her 61 field goals.

Northwest is 37th in the nation with 284 assists this season. Lexi Biggerstaff leads the Eagles with 48, averaging 2.5 per game.

Lindsey leads NU with 34 steals this season, averaging 1.8 per game. Van Loo has 18 blocked shots in 19 games.

Northwest Christian got a 97-64 win against NU in December. Jackie Bento led NU with 11 points, and Van Loo added nine points and seven rebounds. Kaylen Kamelamela and Aspen Sifka had 21 points apiece, with Morgan McKinney adding 18.Â

Northwest Christian has a terrific guard game and averages 9.2 three-pointers and 17.6 assists per game, ranking the Beacons 13th nationally in both categories. McKinney leads the team with 17.5 points per game, and Kayce Mock averages 7.3 rebounds per game. NCU leads the CCC with a 7-2 record and is 12-4 overall. The Beacons got a road split last weekend with a win at Oregon Tech and a 76-74 loss at Southern Oregon.

Corban landed a 68-48 win over NU in December, with Jordan Woodvine getting 19 points and nine rebounds, while Shaelie Burgess had an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double. Ellesse FitzGerald had 12 points, and DuChesne contributed 11 for NU.

Corban is 12-7 overall and tied for second in the Cascade Collegiate Conference at 8-3 after a road split last week. The Warriors are coming off a 63-60 loss at Oregon Tech. Corban has a shut-down defense and is ranked third in defensive field goal percentage (33.2), sixth in defensive rebounds per game (31.8), and ninth in blocks per game (4.4). Woodvine is the No. 14 scorer in NAIA II with 18.39 points per game.Â
