KIRKLAND – Northwest resumes Cascade Collegiate Conference action Tuesday with a 5:30 p.m. game at the Evergreen State College in Olympia.
 
The Eagles are 3-11 overall and 1-3 in CCC action.
 
Northwest has won the last three games in the series, including last year's contest in Olympia, 58-51. Sam Van Loo had 11 points and Grace Meza added nine for NU in that game. Alexcis Higgenbotham had 20 to lead the Geoducks.
 
Van Loo leads the Eagles with 11.9 points per game and Maya DuChesne is close behind at 10.0 Van Loo is shooting a strong 52.2 percent from the field, which ranks 27th in NAIA Division II. 
 
Ellesse FitzGerald leads Northwest with 21 three-pointers this season. Maya DuChesne carries a 39.5 percentage from the arch, which is tops among NU shooters who have made 10 or more three-pointers.
 
Van Loo leads the Eagles with 7.0 rebounds per game, including a team-best 42 offensive rebounds and 56 defensive boards. Northwest is 31st in NAIA Division II in offensive rebounds with 14.14 per game. 
 
The Evergreen State College stopped a season-long losing streak over the weekend with two wins over Walla Walla to move to 2-7 overall and 2-4 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Trinity Betoney leads the Geoducks with 20.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
