KIRKLAND – Northwest returns home, looking for a season sweep this weekend when Multnomah and Warner Pacific come to town for a pair of 5:30 p.m. conference games.

Southern Oregon ended Northwest's road winning streak at three games with a 59-42 win Saturday. Lexi Biggerstaff had 10 points to lead the Eagles. Sam Van Loo added eight points and nine rebounds.

The points are coming from youngsters for the Eagles this season. Sophomore Van Loo leads the team at 11.8 points per game, and freshman Maya DuChesne gets 10 points per game.

Grace Meza is shooting at a 40.9 percent clip from the three-point arch this season to lead the Eagles. Ellesse Fitzgerald has 31 three-pointers for a team high.

Van Loo leads Northwest with 7.7 rebounds per game. She is 30th nationally with 3.34 offensive rebounds per game, and the Eagles are 38th in NAIA II with 13.43 offensive rebounds per game.

Northwest is 44th in NAIA II with 14.26 assists per game despite having no player with more than three assists per game. Biggerstaff (2.55) and DuChesne (2.33) are the only Eagles averaging more than two assists per game.

Biggerstaff has been a defensive stalwart for the Eagles with 32 steals and 11 blocked shots. Livi Lindsey leads the team with 45 steals, and Van Loo leads with 25 blocked shots.

Northwest needed overtime but won for the eighth time in nine tries at Multnomah in January, 77-72. Lindsey had 22 points, and DuChesne scored 21 to pace the Eagles. Erykah Campbell led MU with 23 points.

Multnomah is 4-17 overall and 1-13 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after losing 12 of its last 13 games. Campbell leads the NAIA with 3.33 blocked shots per game, and the Lions are fifth in that category nationally at 4.81 per game. Campbell also leads MU with 12.1 points and 11 rebounds per game.

NU got an 83-81 win at Warner Pacific last month to snap a four-game slide in the series. Lindsey scored 19 to pace the Eagles, who had five players score in double-figures. Courtney Jackson had 22 points, and Gabriella Bruno added 21 for the Knights.

Warner Pacific is 11-11 this season and 8-6 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after knocking off College of Idaho Saturday. The Knights have won three of their last four games.
