KIRKLAND – After four exhibition games, Northwest enters a string of 10 counting games, starting with a two-game set this weekend at St. Martin's in Lacey.
 
Games start at 6 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday.
 
St. Martin's leads the all-time series, 9-2. The teams haven't played a counting game since 2015.
 
In their first counting game, the Eagles lost at Seattle Pacific 87-56. Sam VanLoo and Andie Kristinat combined for 40 points, led by VanLoo with 22 points. Northwest played a strong first half and had leads in the second quarter.
 
St. Martin's is 3-4 this season. The Saints lost at Seattle University by 11 points and split four games with Seattle Pacific. Claire Dingus, a 6-0 forward, leads SMU with 15 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game.
