KIRKLAND – Northwest plays a home-and-away series this weekend, starting with a 3:30 p.m. home game Friday against Warner Pacific before heading to Portland for a 3 p.m. contest on Saturday.

The Knights own a 27-12 lead in the all-time series. Northwest interrupted a four-game win streak by Warner Pacific last season.

The teams split their series last year, each winning on the other's home court.
Sam VanLoo averaged 17 points and
Livi Lindsey 14.5 in the two games last season. Gabriela Bruno averaged 31 in the series for WPU.

The Eagles took back-to-back wins over Multnomah last weekend. Lindsey led NU, averaging 15 points per game. Northwest had 13 three-pointers in each game and shot an amazing 54 percent from the three-point arc for the weekend.Â

VanLoo leads the Eagles with 13.9 points per game, with Lindsey right behind her at 10.3 points per game.
Shelaine Lorenz and VanLoo lead the team with 17 assists from their front-court positions. VanLoo leads with five rebounds per game.

Warner Pacific plays its first counting game Wednesday in Portland at Multnomah. The Knights lost a pair of exhibition games last week to St. Martin's. Gabriela Bruno averaged 18 points per game in those two contests.
