Friday the Eagles bring attention to cancer awareness, and there will be a recognition of cancer survivors. The NU women will be wearing their black uniforms with pink lettering in honor of those battling and beating cancer.

Northwest's win last Friday helped propel the Eagles into the postseason. NU will be on the road for the first round on Tuesday. NU is tied with the College of Idaho for seventh and could finish anywhere from a tie for fifth or eighth in the standings. The entire field is set with Lewis-Clark State, Southern Oregon, Eastern Oregon, and Bushnell having locked up first-round home games. Oregon Tech, Warner Pacific, College of Idaho, and NU will all be on the road for first-round games.

The Eagles (15-12, 9-11) lost their final road game of the regular season, 72-62, at Eastern Oregon on Saturday. VanLoo had 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Livi Lindsey contributed 14 points.

VanLoo took over the scoring lead for the Eagles this month and now averages 13.3 points per game. She also leads the team with her 56.1 shooting percentage. Lindsey is the team's top three-point shooter at 36.1 percent and averages 11.9 points per game. Meza averages 11.5 points and shoots free throws at an 80.6 percent clip.
