LAKEWOOD, WA - The men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Green River Cross Country Invitational this Saturday. Against fierce competition, the men finished 8th as a team, while the women finished 7th as a team. 
 
Josiah Jaquith led the charge on the men's side, finishing 27th with a time of 12:09.6. 
 
Rachel Elliott led the women's side, finishing 68th with a time of 15:27.4.

The cross country teams will head up north at the end of the month to the Western Washington University Invite on September 28.
