The NU lead would be short-lived as the Cavaliers would take the lead for good 25 seconds in with an Anthony Holton jumper. Concordia would not give up the lead the remainder of the game. Back-to-back treys by CU's Tyler Velasquez and Willy Ligon would give the Cavs their largest lead of the half at 81-69 with 3:52 left in the game. 8 points would be the closest NU would get as Concordia would post their 7th straight win to raise their record to 16-4 for the year.

The Cavaliers shot an impressive 57% as a team, 47% from beyond the 3-point arc.

"We've got to find a way to play a little better on the road," said John Van Dyke, Eagle head coach, "but as I've said this before, the conference is tough this year and winning on the road it a difficult task. Give credit to Concordia tonight, they shot exceptionally well. We'll return home and get ready for our home games next weekend."

NU will host Corban and Northwest Christian on Friday and Saturday next weekend.
