The two teams would exchange the lead 7 times in the half with Northwest regaining the lead for good after Tommy Jordan would drop in a trey with 5:59 to go in the half to give NU a 29-28 lead. The Eagles would maintain the lead the rest of the way as the closest Evergreen would get would be 11 points as Northwest would post their 12th win of the season.

"Our lay off hurt us a bit tonight," commented NU's John Van Dyke, "but our guys did a nice job finding their rhythm and holding off several runs by Evergreen to maintain their hold on the game. We'll look forward to a week of practice to get us ready for two tough games at home next weekend with OIT and Southern Oregon coming to town."

Both teams will be at home next weekend as they host Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech in more CCC play on Friday and Saturday nights.
