KIRKLAND – Northwest entertains No. 5 College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon in its first home games of the new year in a pair of 7:30 p.m. starts Friday and Saturday, respectively. The Eagles have not played at home in over a month.

Northwest returned to Cascade Collegiate Conference action Tuesday with a 95-67 win at Evergreen State. Four Eagles scored in double figures, led by
Dejwan Walker with 26 points with the help of eight three-pointers. Hussayn Ford and Ryan Ricks had 16 points each, and
Kelvin Omojola added 14.

Northwest is one of the top shooting teams in the NAIA. The Eagles are fifth nationally at 51.2 percent from the floor and ninth in the nation in three-point shooting at 40.1 percent. Walker is 21st in NAIA II with his 49.0 shooting from the arch. Christian Hakilimali (55.3 percent) and Hussayn Ford (54.7) are 39th and 45th in the NAIA in field goal percentage.Â

Four Eagles average in double-figure scoring. Ford leads at 16.8 points per game, followed by Ricks at 13.6, Hakilimali at 13.4, and Walker at 10.7. Northwest is 22nd in scoring offense at 87 points per game.Â

Ford, who is averaging a double-double, leads the Eagles with 11.8 rebounds per game. Ford is fourth in total rebounds per game and third nationally with 9.14 defensive rebounds per game. The Eagles rank 17th in rebound margin (8.57) and 13th in rebound defense (31.9).Â

The Eagles had 29 assists Tuesday and raised their assists per game average to 18.1, which is ninth in NAIA Division II. Hakilimali averages 5.07 assists per game and is 14th in NAIA II.

The Eagles have not beaten the College of Idaho since 2016–a seven-game slide. The Yotes won in the Pavilion last season 92-66 and held Ford to 11 points and three rebounds. Talon Pinckney had 21 points to lead CI.Â

The College of Idaho is ranked fifth in the NAIA's Division II. The Yotes are 13-3 overall and 6-0 in the CCC. CI is riding a seven-game winning streak. Nate Bruneel leads the Yotes with 14.8 points per game, and Connor Desaulniers leads the team with 7.7 rebounds per game. Ricardo Time shoots a team-best 42.7 percent from three-point range. Pinckney is 12th in the nation with 5.2 assists per game.

Northwest broke a five-game losing streak against Eastern Oregon last season with an 86-76 win in Kirkland. Ford scored 19 in the game for NU, while seven-footer Jarek Schetzle had 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Mountaineers.

The Mountaineers are 8-7 overall and 2-4 in conference games. Eastern Oregon leads the nation in scoring offense at 101.3 and field goal percentage at 53.6. They also are a top 10 rebounding team. Max McCullough averages 20.7 points, and Schetzle gets 18.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per contest.Â
