KIRKLAND – Northwest gets back to the road this weekend, visiting Warner Pacific at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and remaining in Portland to play at Multnomah on Saturday at 5 p.m.

According to each school's website, Warner Pacific requires spectators to wear masks in the gym, while Multnomah has a vaccine/negative test requirement similar to Northwest's.

Northwest improved to 5-3 on the season with a 98-47 win over Portland Bible.
Connor Drinkwine scored 20 points, and the Eagles had 54 points in bench scoring with four non-starters hitting double figures.
Jason Brown Jr. led that group with 11 points, and
Devante Powell,
Daniel Sharpe, and Tre Newman scored 10 each.Â

Rayvaughn Bolton has come on strong in the past three games, averaging 14 points and 2.3 steals per contest in just under 30 minutes per game.

Through three Cascade Collegiate Conference games, Bolton is the lone Eagle averaging double figures in the scoring column. He averages 17.7 points per game.
Tanner Davis and
Connor Drinkwine average 9.7 points, with Davis leading with 6.7 rebounds.
CaCoa Chatman averages a team-best five assists and 1.3 steals per game against the CCC.

Bolton and
CaCoa Chatman are sixth and seventh, respectively, in steals in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Bolton averages 1.6 and Chatman 1.5. Chatman is third at 4.1 assists per game.
Jason Brown Jr. leads the CCC with a 7.0 assist/turnover ratio, and
Jase Paulsen is third at 5.0.

Northwest carries an 18-40 record in the rivalry into Friday's game at Warner Pacific. Northwest hasn't beaten the Knights in Portland since 2014. The teams split the last series in 2020, with the Eagles taking the last meeting, 90-73. Davis had 22 points in that game. Miles Brown had 21 for the Knights.

Warner lost at home Friday to Willamette, 98-95, to drop to 6-4 on the year. The Knights are 2-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Isaac Etter leads WPU at 14.1 points per game with 22 three-pointers this season. Christian Hodge leads the team with 5.8 rebounds per game, and Tyrese Yussuf-Willis gets 4.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Northwest is 48-31 against Multnomah and has more wins against MU than any other rival. The Eagles have won the last 20 meetings, dating back to the 1990-91 season. NU won the last meeting, last spring, 96-95.
Pa'Treon Lee had 17 points, and
Daniel Sharpe contributed 14 for the Eagles. Zach Richardson scored 35 for the Lions.

Multnomah, which opened the Cascade Collegiate Conference season with five home games, is 2-1 in the league and 6-5 overall after taking down Corban, 81-77, on Dec. 4. Tyrese Taylor leads the Lions with 15.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Neyland Block leads MU with 4.5 assists per game.Â
