KIRKLAND –Northwest embarks on a four-game homestand with two games this weekend, taking on Eastern Oregon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and the College of Idaho at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Attendance at this weekend's games will be limited to Northwest students and staff in an effort to avoid further exposure to the COVID-19 Omicron variant.Â

This weekend's games mark the end of the first half of the Cascade Collegiate Conference schedule. The Eagles are a game out of the postseason group at 3-6 heading into the weekend. Eastern Oregon is in a three-way tie for sixth at 4-5, and the College of Idaho is in second at 8-1.

The Eagles picked up a forfeit win over Bushnell last weekend. In the last contest determined on the floor, Corban trimmed the Eagles, 72-68, on Saturday.
Rayvaughn Bolton led the Eagles with 12 points, followed by
Trevan Newman with 11 and
Devante Powell with 10.

The Eagles have four players who average 10 or more points per game. Bolton leads the quarter with 13.2 points per game.
Connor Drinkwine leads the team with 25 three-pointers and averages 11.6 points.
CaCoa Chatman gets 10.9 points per game.
Tanner Davis has knocked down a team-leading 55.6 percent of his shots and averages 10.3 points per game.

Eastern Oregon has a 22-19 lead in the all-time series with Northwest, but the Eagles won the last meeting, defeating the Mountaineers, 78-68, last March in Kirkland. Chatman had 17 points in the game to lead the Eagles. Paul Pennington led EOU with 14 points and seven rebounds.

Eastern Oregon comes in at 10-7 overall and 4-5 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after a 102-93 win over Multnomah on Saturday. Phillip Malatare leads EOU with 20.2 points per game. Xavier Lovelace averages 12.8 points and a conference-leading 9.3 rebounds per game.

The College of Idaho has a 24-18 lead in the all-time series against Northwest. The Yotes have a nine-game winning streak against the Eagles, who haven't won since a 2016-17 game in Kirkland. C of I won their last game in Kristi Brodin Pavilion in the 2019-20 season, 58-56.
