KIRKLAND – Northwest takes its first road trip of the second half of the Cascade Collegiate Conference season this weekend, visiting Southern Oregon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by a 5 p.m. contest on Saturday at Oregon Tech.

Southern Oregon requires visitors to supply proof of Covid-19 vaccination or a negative PCR Covid-19 test within 48 hours of game time. At-home tests are not acceptable. Individuals under 12 years of age, who are not eligible to be vaccinated, are not required to be tested for entry. Masks are still required. Oregon Tech requires masks and, subject to change, does not require proof of vaccination.Â

Northwest is on a two-game win streak after beating Lewis-Clark State 78-63 last Saturday. The Eagles had lost by 46 at LCSC earlier this season.
CaCoa Chatman poured in 30 points, hitting 12 of 18 field goals and coming up with five steals. The Eagles also got a big night out of
Rayvaughn Bolton, who went for 16 points, eight assists, and six steals.
Tanner Davis added 11 points, and AJ Chappell was good for 10 points off the bench.
Carson Sparks gathered eight rebounds. The Eagles are 9-9 overall and 6-7 in the CCC.

Four Eagles average double figures in scoring this season, led by Chatman. Chatman used a 30-point game Saturday to take the team scoring lead at 12.7 points per game. Bolton is second at 12.1, followed by
Connor Drinkwine at 11.7 and Davis at 11.1.

Southern Oregon enjoys a 24-17 lead in the all-time series after trimming the Eagles 72-69 in Kirkland last month. Bolton led the Eagles with 16 points and seven rebounds, while Drinkwine picked up 13 points, Chatman 11, and
Tanner Davis 10. Atmar Mundu led the Raiders with 19 points, while Josh Meyer and Tez Allen had matching 13-point, nine-rebound outings.

Southern Oregon is 11-10 overall and 8-5 in the CCC after dropping road games at the College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon last weekend. Former Eagle Meyer leads the Raiders at 15.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Allen gets 10 points per game and leads SOU with 66 assists and 32 steals.

Oregon Tech has a 32-11 lead in the all-time series, including an 83-59 win over Northwest in Kirkland on New Year's Day. Davis had 13 points, and Bolton added 10 for NU. Garret Albrecht had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Owls, with Keegan Shivers and Joey Potts coming off the bench for 13 points each.

Oregon Tech uses balanced scoring to average 80.3 points per game, led by Albrecht at 11.6. Albrecht also leads the team at 6.5 rebounds per game. Jamison Guerra averages 4.2 assists per game, and Scotty Burge is the steals leader with 22. The Owls are 15-6 overall and lead the CCC at 12-1 after falling to the College of Idaho on Saturday.Â
