KIRKLAND – Northwest turns its attention this weekend to Cascade Collegiate Conference action with Lewis-Clark State and Walla Walla coming into the Pavilion. 
 
The Eagles play LCSC at 7 p.m. on Friday and Walla Walla at 9 p.m. on Saturday.
 
Northwest is 2-3 after a 61-59 loss against Montana Western in the Domino's Classic at the College of Idaho on Nov. 19. NU was hoping to shake off some holiday week rust this week, but a scheduled exhibition at Eastern Washington was postponed.
 
Drew Bryson leads the Eagles with 17.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game to go along with his 40.6 percent shooting from three-point range.
 
Lewis-Clark State has dominated the rivalry, 19-2, with the Eagles pulling off a shocker last year. After losing by 46 points in Idaho, Northwest beat the Warriors, 78-63, in their last meeting in Kirkland. On the other hand, the Eagles are 23-1 all time against Walla Walla, including a sweep of the Wolves last season.
 
CaCoa Chatman poured in 30 points and dropped in six three-pointers to lead the Eagles past Lewis-Clark State last season in Kirkland. AJ Chappell came off the bench for 10 points.
 
Chatman had 11 points, five rebounds, and five assists in NU's 98-72 win in Kirkland last season. Chappell had nine points off the bench. 
 
Lewis-Clark State is 4-3 on the season after a 96-61 win over Walla Walla on Tuesday. The Warriors are 0-2 on the road this season with both losses coming to Top 20 teams. Davian Brown leads the team with 13.1 points per game. Oreon Courtney averages 10.7 points and 6.1 rebounds. Keegan Crosby averages a team-best 6.7 rebounds. Silas Bennion tops the team with 4.4 assists per game.
 
Walla Walla is 0-4 overall and 0-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after its 96-61 loss at Lewis-Clark State on Tuesday. Ethan Ford leads the Wolves at 12 points and five rebounds per game. Andrew Vaughan averages 11.3 points and paces WWU with seven assists. Walla Walla is shooting 20 percent from three-point range this season.
