KIRKLAND, WA - Several student-athletes of the Northwest men's and women's basketball team have been nominated for the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes award. 

For students to qualify, they must obtain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must be on the eligibility certificate for their respective sport, and have been attending their designated institution for at least a full year. 

This year's nominations go to Beatrice Simon, Ellie De Waard, Faith Dumlao, Jersey McGehee, Kamille Febo-Santiago, Morgan Perrigoue and Manuel Zapater. 

Northwest University and NU Athletics are proud of these student-athletes and would like to congratulate them for all their accomplishments this season.
